I just put a cold air induction on my grand am and now whenever im driving ,when i decelerate my rpms fall?

rpms collapse and rise eraticaly when i slow to 20 or 30 mph.

i am a spoonful confused, when you slow down (decelerate) your rpms should go down,

so you're getting a rise, is it accompanied by a check engine light? that would be very helpful, estimate sure that there are no vacuum lines or connectors that got left unplugged
