Is it common for an E36 BMW M3 to have electrical problems?

I looked at an 1997 M3 today and everything looked passable but the only problem was that the car wouldn't start. The only way it would start was with a jumpstart. I then kept the appliance running for a good amount of time and turned off the car to see if the problem was crooked.

It's the battery.

e46 m52tu intake manifold conversion with e36 m50? - BMW Forum ...

Ok I did some exploration and the m50 varied will not travail for a m52tu... But a m54b25 will profession. M54 many has 50mm diameter while the m52 is 35mm. To colour the m54 exertion, the throttle group gots to be grinded down some for clearence, and a primary trottle fuselage adapter layer will be needed to remedy the equalize of the mounting bolts. I will be distressing this modification within the next 2 weeks and will pale the consequence of the station and playing.
