1992 Dodge Dynasty fuel line repair cost?

I have a 1992 Plot Dynasty that is leaking fuel from a line towards the rear of the car. Is the line rubber or metal and if it is metal can I supplant it with a rubber hose as I have been told it is cheaper? Also how much should I look to pay for this help, both if a metal
