Can you drive with a jump starter/booster attached to your battery for a short distance?
My alternator is hastily. I own a 300 amp Vector START-IT jump starter and am able to start my car (1989 Saab 900) with it unavailable, but as soon as I remove it the car shuts off.

Yes you can! Also,cost the battery up and run on the reserve it stores (no lites,radio,htr,or any other accesaries) as that is what nest egg is for in a battery. When the battery runs dry,plug in your jump starter to go a little farther on it stored set aside.
